Fabinho came accompanied by his broad experience in publicity and animation films, besides two short films in his curriculum. "I became interested in cinema because of my interest in common people and their unique stories". Working as a commercial film director since 2000, he has already filmed more than 150 commercials for clients such as HSBC, Itaú, Claro, Fiat, Gessy Lever, Adams and many others."My decision to become a director stretches back to the time in which I worked with César Charlone, who showed me that making movies could be both simple and fun". In cinema, Fabinho directed the short Curupira, awarded the Best Short Fiction Film at the Rio de Janeiro Film Festival in 2005 by the Official Jury, and Best Short Film at the Vitória-05 Film Festival by Popular Jury. His second short is Amsterdam. He directed two seasons for a series of 6 episodes for HBO, "Destino SP" and "Destino RJ", broadcasted in 2013.
