Born and raised in Hawaii, Tryan George began making his first Super 8 movies as a child, only eight years old.

After graduating from Cornell University, He toured Europe with his rock band "The Dambuilders" promoting his acclaimed album “A Young Person’s Guide”. Upon his return, Tryan moved to New York where he produced two feature films: "Rift," which competed at the 1993 Sundance Film Festival and "Murders and Acquisitions," in which he co-directed. He’s also responsible for more than 50 music videos.

Since then, Tryan has been directly involved with beauty brands worldwide such as Garnier, Pantene, L'Oreal and Neutrogena and has become one of the most important specialists in the world in hair commercials.

He currently lives in Los Angeles and continues to direct major commercial campaigns with notable work for other top brands like Sony, Blue Cross, Bailey's Irish Cream, Colgate, Hugo Boss and IKEA.
