Paulo Morelli is a director, producer and a screenwriter and has just created software to analyze plays and screenplays. He has directed 3 feature films including City of Men. With a degree in architecture, he began his career in video when video was just starting in Brazil. He was one of the partners at Olhar Eletrônico (Electronic Look) from 1981 to 1991. This independent production company changed the way videos and news reports were done in Brazil.
In 1991 O2 was founded, focusing on advertising and cinema. His first short film “Tombstone” won the Best Film Award at 4 different festivals. His feature films: O Preço da Paz (The Price of Peace) won the Audience Award at the Gramado and Tiradentes Film Festivals; Speaker Phone won the Best International Film Award at the New York Independent Film Festival; and finally he directed City of Men, the feature film which completed the story of the TV series of the same name. He has written several screenplays while developing his Story Touch software. In 2012, He filmed "A Sheep's Clothing" with his son Pedro Morelli.
