The animated short film by director Quico Meirelles entitled “Sob o Véu da Vida Oceânica (Under the Veil of Ocean Life),” which won the Best Brazilian Short Film Award given by the audience at the 25th Anima Mundi Festival and the Acquisition Award from Canal Brasil, has gained a poster which we’re sharing here.
This short film will be shown in São Paulo as part of the Anima Mundi Festival on July 26 at 7 pm at the São Paulo Cultural Center in the Lima Barreto Room, on July 28 at 8 pm also at the São Paulo Cultural Center in the Paulo Emilia Room, and on July 29 at 8 pm at Caixa Belas Artes in the Candido Portinari Room. “Sob o Véu da Vida Oceânica (Under the Veil of Ocean Life)” was written by Felipe Arrojo Poroger and directed by Quico Meirelles. The animation and art were directed by Chico Zullo, the production coordinator was Ton Ruey, the voice director was Melissa Garcia, the sound editing supervisor was Allan Zilli, and the final post-production work was performed by Danielle Belo. The musical producer was Sound Design Productions, with original music by Bruno Bonaventure and Jesus Sanchez, and the original sound production was done by Ultrassom Music Ideas.
