O2 is producing a series of films, videos and exposition materials for the Brazilian Pavilion of the United Nations Conference on Sustainable Development – Rio+20 which will take place between June 13 and June 24 in Rio de Janeiro.
The Brazilian Pavilion is an acre in size and is located in the Athletes’ Park in Barra da Tijuca. It is being organized by Apex – Brasil (The Brazilian Agency for the Promotion of Exports and Investment).
Overseeing O2’s work and the expositions is Marcello Dantas. Participating in the project are O2 directors Cassiano Prado, Carol Leone, Dainara Toffoli, Gisele Barroco, Renato Amoroso and Rodrigo Meirelles. The objective of this work is to present the evolution of sustainable development in Brazil in a unified fashion, starting with the Rio 92 Conference and tracing the economic, social and environmental aspects of sustainability to the present day. The work will cover current projects as well as challenges for the future.
The exposition will be open to the public except from June 20 through June 22 when it will be reserved solely for participants of the Rio+20 Conference.
