The 40th Professionals of the Year Awards will take place on September 27 in São Paulo. The awards honor creative professionals in the audiovisual area in various categories whose works appear on the Globo Network.
To commemorate the 40 years of the Professionals of the Year Awards, the Globo Network will hold at the same time a special exposition in the Oca – the Exposition Center of Ibirapuera Park – in São Paulo, where iconic works, jingles and slogans will be on display. The exposition will open on September 27 for ceremony guests and from September 28 to 30 for the public.
The awards ceremony will feature special guests and offer segments with curiosities about the market during the last 40 years.
The finalists were selected by a jury of creative professionals, directors of commercials, communication entities and schools, as well as representatives from Globo. In total, the jury evaluated more than 800 commercials.
The Renner commercial “Sem Palavras (No Word),” created by the Paim Agency, was the winner in the Southern Market Region.
“Sem Palavras (No Word)” was directed by Kitty Bertazzi, and features art directed by Alex Rocca, photography directed by Lula Carvalho, editing by Renato Gaiarsa and post-production by O2. Nani Azevedo was the production manager, and the soundtrack was produced by Supersônica.
